I'm Andre “Dre” Thornton, a photographer, video producer, and visual storyteller based in Central Arkansas. Through Thornton Image, I create photography and video that captures people, places, events, and stories in ways that are engaging, authentic, and visually compelling.

My work spans photography, video production, event coverage, promotional content, interviews, educational and instructional video, aerial imagery, and creative projects. I also have a strong background in teaching and helping others understand the tools and techniques behind photography and video production.

Experience That Goes Beyond the Camera

My approach to visual media comes from years of working directly with people, technology, and real-world production environments. I've managed a professional video studio, produced content for organizations and community events, taught photography and video classes, supported live and virtual productions, and worked with photographers, educators, performers, and other creative professionals.

That experience has taught me that good production isn't simply about having the right camera. It's about understanding the subject, recognizing the story, solving problems when things don't go as planned, and knowing what needs to happen behind the camera to create something meaningful in front of it.

Whether I'm photographing an event, creating a promotional video, documenting a performance, producing instructional content, or simply exploring a location with a camera, I approach each project with the same goal: create something worth seeing.

I believe the strongest visual work doesn't just show people what happened. It makes them feel like they were there.
